What is Your Greatest Weakness?

If you have been reading my posts then you must know by now that ice cream is my biggest weakness. Of course I am not talking about some schlocky ice cream, but the really good stuff.

What's your weakness? Most (dare I say all?) of us have one. How often do you "give in" to it? Is it a staple in your diet? If I was going to answer this question honestly, which obviously what's the point of doing this exercise if I am not going to be honest with myself (and you), then I would say about once every week to 10 days. That's actually quite often, but not as bad as it could be. I try not to stock it in the house (damn you Ben & Jerry!).

Last week I asked you to track your habits for one week. I had asked that you write down what/when you are drinking, eating and getting exercise. Did you do it? Perhaps just in your head. Time to evaluate those habits. When you do perhaps you will identify something that is a "weakness" that you didn't even realize. Could drinking Diet Cokes really be considered one? It seems harmless enough. Do you have a habit of eating a little something sweet after dinner? Do you have a glass of wine each night with dinner? How does this weakness impact your daily life?

If this "weakness" is impacting your life/health then it's time to take action.

You need just enough discipline to create a new habit. Sounds easy right? Take a look at what you wrote down (hopefully) and identify your number one weakness and start there.
