4 Tips to Maintain Your Weight Loss

1.Keep your body moving

Exercise is key to maintaining your new healthy weight! Try to find some type of activity you enjoy. When was the last time you took a bicycle ride? You can also try swimming, running or even just walking. I recently learned how much I love hiking! I find a great playlist can help get you in the mood.

2.Fill your plate with whole foods

I LOVE veggies! I hope you do too. Fill up as much of your plate with vegetables, fruit and lean meats as you can. You can also add in some whole grains like quinoa or farro. Give your body the nutrients it needs and no more processed foods!

3.Sleep!

I can't stress this enough. Getting the right amount of sleep is absolutely essential to maintaining your healthy weight and lifestyle. When you don't sleep enough (aside from getting cranky) you reach for things you shouldn't and tend to let everyday stressors take control. So prioritize it!

4.Get rid of the elastic waistband

Leisure-wear has taken over! The big problem with that is we don't tend to notice our clothes are getting snug because they grow with us. Wear something that zips up so you can nip any weight gain in the bud before it gets to be a problem. Of course you want want to show off your new healthy body anyway!
